DPIE Communications, Marketing, and Engagement members – upcoming change

The É«ÀÇÉçÇøhas recently been made aware of an upcoming organisational change within DPIE which will affect staff across multiple DPIE Divisions working in Communications, Marketing, and Engagement roles.
The proposed change will look to centralise CME teams across the broader DPIE cluster in the following business groups:
- People, Performance and Culture CME Team
- Environment, Energy and Science (excluding the EPA)
- Housing and Property
- Planning and Assessment
- Place, Design and Public Spaces
- Water
- Corporate Services/OSEC/Strategy and Reform
While engagement is only just beginning, whenever there is talk of centralising functions there is likely to be duplicated roles and functions which may be removed.
