An initial meeting with officers of the Department of Education was held on Thursday, 20 August 2015.
Delegates and staff of the É«ÀÇÉçÇøwill be meeting with the Department weekly for the next month to negotiate on these important issues.
Issues already raised with the Department include:
- Bandwidth of hours
- Non-payment upon exit
- Banking of hours
- Core time.
The Department will also be developing Frequently Asked Questions to be placed on the intranet.
Members are encouraged to continue to raise issues of concern with your delegates.
