Department of Climate Change, Energy, Environment and Water, and National Parks and Wildlife Service NSW: members’ meeting
The É«ÀÇÉçÇøhas been notified the formal consultation period has begun for the proposed changes in the Department of Climate Change, Energy, Environment and Water – Conservation Programs, Heritage and Regulation branch. The proposed changes will establish a Conservation and Heritage Regulator. This far-reaching and complex change impacts our members already within CPHR and some of our members within National Parks and Wildlife Service performing regulatory functions.
The É«ÀÇÉçÇøunderstands some impacted staff haven’t been engaged, and from conversations with members there are concerns about consultation being held during school holidays.
