Department of Finance Services and Innovation Corporate Affairs restructure consultation

On Monday 14 May, the Department released its 鈥淩estructure Management Plan鈥 for DFSI Corporate Affairs unit.
The only justification given by the Department for its restructure plan 鈥 which aims to cuts seven substantive Grade 9/10 and 7/8 roles 鈥 is to 鈥渕eet the needs of a changing organisation鈥 and 鈥渢o respond to a changing communication landscape, to reduce costs and rebalance some aspects of the Corporate Affairs model鈥.
Your union intends to fight these job cuts however it can.
The two-week consultation period will end on Tuesday 29 May.
色狼社区industrial staff now wish to meet with affected members to hear your feedback and concerns on DFSI鈥檚 plan. A members鈥 meeting will be arranged and details distributed shortly.
We also invite affected members to send Matthew your written feedback, including any industrial or other concerns, this week. The 色狼社区will collate your feedback 鈥 it will form part of our submission we will provide to Management and address with them, at a scheduled meeting at the end of the two-week consultation period.
