CPSU NSW Calls for Review of Emergency Response Procedures at SCU

The Community and Public Sector Union (CPSU NSW) has called on the Vice Chancellor, Professor Adam Shoemaker, to conduct a full review of the University’s emergency response
procedures following last week’s lockdown.
Many staff have contacted the CPSU NSW upset with the way the incident was handled, both during
and afterwards.
The CPSU NSW believes it is timely to conduct a comprehensive review in collaboration with the
NSW Police Force, emergency services, University stakeholders and staff.
