Review of Administration and Stores
Meeting TODAY 23 October 2015
Today, the É«ÀÇÉçÇøis attending a meeting with Corrective Services NSW (CSNSW) about the review of Administration and Stores. Our members have told us that other meetings have also been scheduled this afternoon at various Centres to discuss the review.
In preparation for this meeting, the É«ÀÇÉçÇøhas been given a document by CSNSW that outlines the planned implementation of a restructure for Administration and Stores staff. However, the É«ÀÇÉçÇøand our members were not adequately consulted about this restructure before the decision was made to proceed with it.
The É«ÀÇÉçÇøwill demand that the plan be withdrawn and that instead, a proposal be issued that will form the basis of consultation with the É«ÀÇÉçÇøand staff before any decision is made. If CSNSW refuses, the É«ÀÇÉçÇøwill apply to the Industrial Relations Commission to fight for your rights to be consulted about decisions that affect you in your workplace.
