Recently the É«ÀÇÉçÇøcalled for nominations for the position of local workplace delegates at the Mount Druitt Housing office, Western Sydney District.
The É«ÀÇÉçÇøwishes to congratulate the following who have been elected, unopposed, to represent you as your delegates: Ashley Clark, Jackie Newton, Taras Dawydko.
Your É«ÀÇÉçÇøunion organisers are Vivette Horrex and Sharon Richards.
Your É«ÀÇÉçÇøIndustrial Officer is Katy Ambler.
State elected Departmental Committee Delegates for Western Sydney are Angela Denham, Lisa Kennedy and Theresa Khoury.
É«ÀÇÉçÇødelegates represent you with managementÂ
Your union represents your interests at meetings with management called Joint Consultative Committees (JCC). The purpose of a JCC is to establish a regular forum for issues and concerns to be raised with management and addressed collaboratively.
If you have collective workplace issues you’d like raised at the JCC you can raise it directly with your delegate. Individual members can contact a local delegate and or call our member support for advice and or industrial representation.
Free É«ÀÇÉçÇøtraining courses for all members
É«ÀÇÉçÇøunion training is open to all É«ÀÇÉçÇømembers, not just delegates.
Non-members wishing to attend training will need to submit a membership application form first.
We offer a variety of courses and all É«ÀÇÉçÇømembers have access to 12 days’ paid leave each two-year period to attend É«ÀÇÉçÇøtraining courses. For more information, click HERE.
