Last year the É«ÀÇÉçÇøcalled for nominations for the position of workplace delegate at the Pitt St office of Health Professional Councils Authority (HPCA).
The É«ÀÇÉçÇøwishes to congratulate Clare Angel-Auld who has been elected as your delegate, she will be joining delegate Jill O’Meara to represent you in your workplace.

The É«ÀÇÉçÇøhas been around for more than a century and proudly fights to secure and advance the pay and conditions of public servants in diverse roles across NSW government departments, agencies and schools.
The É«ÀÇÉçÇøassists and acts on behalf of fee-paying members state-wide in all aspects of your working lives. Your union provides support, expert advice and collective as well as individual representation with any difficulty that may be encountered in the workplace.
In doing so, the union and its membership have shaped the industrial landscape in this state.
É«ÀÇÉçÇødelegates represent you with HPCA management
Your union represents your interests at meetings with management called Joint Consultative Committees (JCCs). The purpose of a JCC is to establish a regular forum for issues and concerns to be raised with management and addressed collaboratively.
É«ÀÇÉçÇødelegates and staff met with senior representatives from HPCA and Human Resources on Monday 31 January for the first ever local JCC for HPCA. The meeting covered finalisation of the JCC Terms of Reference, introductions and preliminary discussions around workplace issues such as workload, resourcing and the results of the People Matter Employee Survey.
The next JCC will be held in approximately two months time. The É«ÀÇÉçÇøwill arrange a members’ meeting to report back and canvass the views of staff prior to the next JCC.
If you have collective workplace issues you’d like raised at the JCC, you can also raise them directly with your delegates.
Free É«ÀÇÉçÇøtraining courses for all members
É«ÀÇÉçÇøunion training is open to all É«ÀÇÉçÇømembers, not just delegates.
Non-members wishing to attend training will need to submit a membership application form first.
We offer a variety of courses and all É«ÀÇÉçÇømembers have access to 12 days’ paid leave each two-year period to attend É«ÀÇÉçÇøtraining courses. The program for 2022 is being finalised and will include a mix of face-to-face and online training.
