Child Protection and Permanency restructure: É«ÀÇÉçÇømembers’ update

On Thursday 23 April, Child Protection and Permanency announced significant changes to its structure under the system reform. Staff should have received the ‘Phase 2 Placement Plan’ shortly thereafter.
Further meetings were held by Child Protection and Permanency with affected Manager Client Services (MCS) and Manager Caseworkers (MCW) on Tuesday 28 April, and with MCSs for the Child and Family District Unit (CFDU) on Thursday 30 April.
The É«ÀÇÉçÇøhas been advised that many questions were raised by members and staff during these meetings. As a result, the FAQs are expected to increase significantly, and members are encouraged to actively participate and raise their concerns.
On Friday 1 May, the É«ÀÇÉçÇøwas provided with the proposed organisational charts. Corrected versions were subsequently provided on Monday 4 May. The Plan and organisational charts can be found via the links below:
