Chief executive of troubled iCare resigns – The New Daily 04/08/2020

The Public Service Association on Tuesday said the entire iCare board should step down after a parliamentary inquiry on Monday heard the company had sought to terminate payments to 17,000 workers on compensation.
It also heard Mr Nagle had been sanctioned by the board in 2019 for a conflict of interest.
鈥淎 fish rots from its head 鈥 and it鈥檚 clear the board overseeing our workers鈥 compensation scheme are rotten and need to go,鈥 the PSA鈥檚 Stewart Little said.
鈥淭he current workers鈥 compensation model is broken. It does not have fairness incorporated into the system, deferring decisions to a list of rent seekers that rely upon the workers鈥 compensation system for fees 鈥 is not independent or fair.鈥
