CALL FOR NOMINATIONS – SCHOOLS DEPARTMENTAL COMMITTEE

The Schools Departmental Committee consists of delegates from the following occupations:
School Administrative Managers, School Administrative Officers, School Learning Support Officers, Business Managers, and Aboriginal Education Officers.
Since the last election in 2020 a number of casual vacancies have arisen and we are seeking to fill these positions. We are calling for delegates in the following electorates:
| Electorate 1 Metropolitan North (DEC Northern Sydney) | 1 delegate |
| Electorate 2 Metropolitan South (DEC – South West Sydney) | 1 delegate |
| Electorate 3 Central West (Bathurst É«ÀÇÉçÇøOffice) | 1 delegate |
| Electorate 4 Hunter (Newcastle É«ÀÇÉçÇøOffice) | 2 delegates |
| Electorate 5 South West (Wagga É«ÀÇÉçÇøOffice) | 1 delegate |
NOMINATIONS AND CLOSING DATE:
Each nomination must be seconded by two other members in the same group electorate as the nominee. Nominees, nominators and seconders must be financial members of the Association as at 22 October 2021.
Nominations must be submitted via Survey Monkey.
Nominations will close on 12 November 2021. Forms must be completed via Survey Monkey by 4pm on 12 November 2021.
If there is a ballot, candidates who wish to have a profile available for voters to read should provide a brief statement of 300 words or less stating how they will best represent members’ interests.
