  18 November 2021

Two vacancies have arisen on the PSA School Psychologists Vocational Advisory Group and we are calling for nominations to fill them. The É«ÀÇÉçÇøthanks the previous Delegates, Alicia Rowan and Ben Bramston for the time, effort, and knowledge they put into advocating for the School Psychologist É«ÀÇÉçÇømembership.

The two members that fill these Delegate positions will join Erin Kremer, the É«ÀÇÉçÇøDelegate for Sydney Metropolitan.

What is the role of the Delegate?

Delegates assist in protecting and advancing the interests and rights of members in the workplace and they liaise directly with union staff to guide and advise us relation to collective matters. Find out more about the role and responsibilities of a union delegate HERE.

The É«ÀÇÉçÇøis currently negotiating an Award for School Psychologists with the Department of Education. Read more HERE.

As a Delegate you will be involved in the Award negotiations, alongside É«ÀÇÉçÇøstaff. You will also meet as part of the School Psychologists Vocational Advisory Group (one-day meetings) on a quarterly basis. You will be released from work duties, to attend these meeting on paid time.

The É«ÀÇÉçÇøprovides training for new Delegates which can be attended using Special Leave for Trade Union Training; up to 12 days every two years. Union Delegates will be supported and guided by É«ÀÇÉçÇøstaff.

Contact your É«ÀÇÉçÇøOrganiser at if you have questions about becoming a É«ÀÇÉçÇøDelegate.
