Over the past months, the É«ÀÇÉçÇøhas held nominations for delegate positions on the NSW Rural Fire Service Departmental Committee.
The elected delegates meet quarterly and work with industrial staff to drive strategy and represent members.

Delegates are the union’s eyes and ears in the workplace and it is critical that these roles provide that communication flow.

Attendance and training
As an elected Delegate, you will be entitled to Special Leave to attend the quarterly meetings of the relevant delegate group. Furthermore, a reminder that all É«ÀÇÉçÇømembers are entitled to 12 days of paid leave every two years for certain union activities, including union training.
The É«ÀÇÉçÇøcan assist in developing your skills through courses such as Role of the Delegate and Dealing with Restructures. The full É«ÀÇÉçÇøtraining schedule is available HERE.
