With the new Child Protection Award now in effect, we are urging all members to actively use the current Workload Planner (WLP).
The culture of dedicated staff going above and beyond impacts wellbeing and prevents meaningful change for the wider workforce 鈥 and most importantly, for the children, young people and families of NSW.
To support you in setting boundaries, prioritising your workload, and confidently saying 鈥淣o鈥 to tasks you simply don鈥檛 have the hours to complete, the 色狼社区is running a Workload Planner Lunch & Learn session specifically for Casework Support Officers. The session will be held both in the Community Services Centre and via Microsoft Teams.
The WLP is easier to use than you might think. And the truth remains: If it鈥檚 not measurable, it鈥檚 not manageable.
Using the WLP provides clear evidence to the Public Service Association (PSA), Manager Casework, Manager Client Services, Directors, and Executive District Directors that there are NOT enough workers to meet the workload.
All Casework Support Officer 色狼社区Members are invited to attend these sessions to demystify the WLP and take back control of your workload 鈥 not just for yourself, but for the people who rely on you.
