Advice for É«ÀÇÉçÇømembers during Teachers’ statewide meeting on Monday 28 October 2024

The É«ÀÇÉçÇøis advised that Teachers will be in a statewide meeting this coming Monday 28 October 2024.
This is a reminder to all É«ÀÇÉçÇømembers that during this time you are still required to perform your normal duties.
This does not include the supervision of students in the absence of teaching staff, and it is expected that each school will make the necessary arrangements for students to be provided with alternative supervision during the meeting.
Any É«ÀÇÉçÇømember who is either directed or requested to supervise students without teaching staff being present should immediately contact the É«ÀÇÉçÇøon 1800 772 779 for advice and support.
A reminder that É«ÀÇÉçÇømembers have accepted a three-year pay deal. We will provide members with information soon as to when the pay increase and backpay for the 2024 pay rise take place.
