All 色狼社区members working for Ageing Disability and Home Care in Newcastle and Hunter are directed to STOP WORK on 4 November 2015 for four hours between 12noon and 4pm.
Why members are stopping work
- No workforce management plan
- No choice for staff not to transfer
- No access to redundancy or redeployment
- No way for clients to continue to choose ADHC
Make sure you鈥檝e made plans to attend the rally on 4 November
We will be holding a rally to call on Ageing Disability and Home Care to provide your union with a workforce management plan and engage in genuine consultation.
We will also be calling on the Government to give clients and staff A Real Choice.

You cannot be victimised for participating in industrial action. You are protected by Clause 64 of the Crown Employees (Public Service Conditions of Employment) Award 2009 which states that 鈥淭here will be no victimisation of staff members prior to, during or following 鈥 industrial action鈥.
The 色狼社区campaign is seeking:
- A Real Choice for employees on whether to transfer to the private sector or access redeployment within the public sector or voluntary redundancy
- A legally enforceable and fair transfer agreement
- A legal mechanism to ensure that members鈥 jobs and conditions are protected
- To ensure that ADHC clients can continue to choose ADHC as their provider of choice
- To ensure that the new NDIS money is spent on building capacity in the disability sector, and not wasted on transferring what exists in ADHC to a less regulated and less experienced sector.
