Additional Annual Leave Entitlement

Many of you would be aware that Taronga is currently reviewing staff’s entitlement to Additional Annual Leave for working Sundays and Public Holidays. As part of this process Taronga is consulting with the É«ÀÇÉçÇøto determine if access to this leave will continue.
É«ÀÇÉçÇøhas engaged legal advice to clarify the issue and believe there are several arguments for why access to this entitlement should remain.
The matter was discussed at the September JCC and É«ÀÇÉçÇøwill formally write to advise Taronga of its position. We will update you on how this advice is received and any further É«ÀÇÉçÇøaction.
Taronga have advised É«ÀÇÉçÇøthat they will continue to work with us to resolve the issue.
