ACU Bargaining is progressing!

The last bargaining meeting was held in Melbourne face to face. Your team of CPSU NSW representatives engaged in spirited bargaining around a variety of issues which affect professional staff.
Discussions focused on leave entitlements, flexible working, change management and redundancy, classification, study time and financial assistance to support employees studying.
Change Management was an item raised by the University with union representatives concerned about work intensification, workload and the post change reviews following restructuring.
A preliminary discussion was also held regarding the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander employment initiatives – with ACU representative saying they would like to be aspirational and courageous regarding this – and we are looking forward to further detailed discussions in the future.
