Aboriginal Affairs NSW Joint Consultative Committee: É«ÀÇÉçÇørequests quarterly consultation meeting
5 July 2021
The É«ÀÇÉçÇøhas written to Aboriginal Affairs NSW Executive requesting a Joint Consultative Committee (JCC) structure be created.
A JCC is a quarterly meeting between the PSA, É«ÀÇÉçÇøDelegates and Aboriginal Affairs NSW executive and/or management representatives.
The É«ÀÇÉçÇøwill take your collective views to these meetings and advocate for better workplace outcomes. Issues raised at JCCs typically have collective industrial importance. This could include restructuring, work health and safety, workplace policy reform, flex arrangements, employment status and more.
Employees should have the opportunity to influence their work and their work environment. A JCC is a mechanism in which you are able to do this.
The É«ÀÇÉçÇøhas requested the first meeting of the JCC be held before October 15 2021.
The É«ÀÇÉçÇøwill await the Aboriginal Affairs Executive reply and will keep members updated as this matter progresses.
The É«ÀÇÉçÇøwould like to thank your É«ÀÇÉçÇøDelegates Stephen Howarth, Carlo Svagelli and Haillie Jefferies and former É«ÀÇÉçÇøDelegate Anne Wright for their work in this matter.
If you have any questions, please email your É«ÀÇÉçÇøDelegates:
