Ability Options stall on 1.75% pay rise

It has come to the attention of the CPSU NSW that Ability Options has not passed on the 1.75% increase awarded by the Fair Work Commission (FWC) in its Annual Wage Review. See our previous bulletin .
The CPSU NSW understand that the FWC Annual Wage Review increase extends to both SCHADs and copied state award pay rates.
We made contact with Ability Options, asserting our position. They advised they were unsure if they are required to pass on the 1.75% to copied state award pay rates. They will advise the CPSU NSW of their position as soon as possible, assuring they will back pay any increase to the first full pay period from 1 July 2020.
