Restructure in the Department of Education

The 色狼社区has been advised that the Department of Education is undertaking a 鈥渞ealignment鈥 to, in the words of Mark Scott, 鈥渄eliver our strategic plan of improvement in every school and skills reform for a post-COVID economy鈥.
The Association has written to the Secretary and asked to meet to discuss these plans and to establish consultation. We have asked for a draft Change Management Plan in accordance with the Public Service Commission Agency Change Management Guidelines.
We have been advised this is not likely to result in any job losses. This was confirmed by Mr Scott who has assured your union 鈥渢his restructure is focused on our executive senior service鈥.聽
However, we need to see the detail of the proposal. The 色狼社区is anxious to ensure that none of our members are disadvantaged in this 鈥渞ealignment鈥.
We will also be seeking information on how these changes will take place.聽
