After winning employment protections last month, we sent É«ÀÇÉçÇømembers in Home Care a survey asking what further action they were prepared to take.
The É«ÀÇÉçÇøhas carefully considered the results with your Home Care delegates. The É«ÀÇÉçÇøwill now commence legal proceedings to protect all the conditions you currently enjoy that have not yet been protected, including those that sit within policy, the employee handbook and various industrial instruments.
We will report back on our progress with this.
Bans lifted while legal action commences
In addition, your delegates voted to lift all É«ÀÇÉçÇøbans in Home Care while legal action commences.
É«ÀÇÉçÇømembers in Home Care are accordingly advised work bans are no longer in place.
Thanks again to all members who have held strong to uphold the bans to date, and those who participated in the survey. It is important our actions have been guided by and supported by the members of our union at such a crucial time.
